Lie (2017)
Satyam (Nithiin), a reckless youth wants go to US to marry a rich girl. Chaitra (Mega Akash) agrees to marry someone to tour nice locations like US but the wedding gets cancelled for a silly reason. Travel agent sets Chaitra and Satyam go together on US trip. The movie has love, intelligence and enmity and the trailer promises that it will be a nail-biting watch. The love story is built on the concept of lying to each other and the protagonist's name, 'A Satyam', which translates to 'lie' when pronounced together..

Lie movie will connect with multiplex audience. Director Hanu Raghavapudi tried to bring Lie closer to all genres of audience but he missed out at times. He could sculpt the roles of each character very smartly. There was not much of scope for Heroine cha.

All in all, LIE is a contrasting film in comparison to regular potboilers. There’s more style and moderate substance with lack in narrative pace at many times. CJ goes for 2.75 stars to LIE as the film has got good chances to hold good in metros, A cent.

On the whole, LIE is a film which has a very interesting plot and even the strongest of support from the lead stars. But it is the execution that falters as unnecessary scenes keep coming in at regular intervals spoiling the effect of the thriller a bit. .
