Mom (2017)
Devaki(Sridevi) leads a happy life with her husband and two daughters. The only disappointment in her life is that one of her kids, who is her stepdaughter disowns her all the time. Left with no choice, she continues with her life.
The twist in the tale arises when her daughter gets brutally raped by her classmates. The family goes to court but loses the case badly. Upset with this, she decides to take the revenge herself. How did she manage to do that is the whole film all about..

'Mom' is like a tale of fiery tigress, who can do anything in order to protect her cub. It's a taut thriller which deserved to be seen..

Despite all my empathy towards victims, a small part of me debated if taking law into your hands is the right thing to do or even promote, in a film. The minor boy who rapes his classmate is also raped in jail. Isn’t that tragic too? But Mom is not Pink.

The confrontation scenes with the avenging mother, criminal and the cop in snow-clad Georgia is overly dramatic.
But that shouldn’t stop you from watching this taut thriller studded with some superlative performances.
