Spyder (2017)
Mahesh Babu works in Intelligence and his job is to identify and nab the miscreants. A mysterious death gets him involved in a case and he finds out two Psychopaths are involved. Then begins the Cat and Mouse game where he fights against them and finally the movie ends where Mahesh moves to preachy mode! A simple plot, but when it comes to Murder mystery it would always be exciting. So, let's see whether AR Murugadoss has done justice to the plot and Mahesh Babu's stardom..

Shot with more kineticism than gloss by Santosh Sivan, Spyder’s masala-filled mayhem takes great pride in showing off its scale across VFX-aided rollercoasters duels, rolling giant boulders and buildings collapsing into rubble that leads to a big-scale,.

It’s so relieving to watch a film without anti-smoking/anti-drinking ads. This film didn’t have those ads because there is not even a single smoking/drinking scene in the film. Thanks a million to Murugadoss for that!.

Story revolves around the concept of helping and humanity. Bhairavudu is the bad man who tries to harm the society.
In the absence of newness in the story director’s attempt to glue the audience failed. Harris didn’t understand Murugadoss’s pulse.

All in all, “Spyder” has interesting first half, and some neatly packed episodes but it lets down totally as it is neither the best movie from Murugadoss, nor a good one for Mahesh Babu. Other than bits and pieces, it lacks appealing factor.
