One fine day, they are handed over a case which involves several top level international criminals. 'Vivekam' features action, action, action. Visually breathtaking to an extent, but the writing gets a raw deal. Ajith and aplomb go together. But Vivek Oberoi and Kajal don't rise to the occasion..

Despite rich production values and superior visuals with high-octane stunts, 'Vivekam' falls flat with its insipid writing and boring narration. It defies logic too. A spy thriller with loud action, hardly any riveting moments..

In fact, they are well shot too. Despite 149 minutes running time, the movie moves at a tense, thrilling and suspenseful pace. And, last but not least, Ajith is riding a motorcycle again and it is too good to watch again. Every scene on the screen is esse.

On the whole, Vivekam is a loud action entertainer which works only for Ajith fans. If not for his hard work and stylized action, the film would have been even more dreadful. Lack of basic clarity in the narration can leave you clueless during the first h.
