Qarib Qarib Singlle (2017) As the title of the film suggest this story is about two beautiful souls who are Qarib Qarib Singlle! Yogi (Irrfan Khan) and Jaya (Parvathy) both meet through a dating website. Both are extremely opposite, but as they say opposite attracts. While booming up the business of coffee shops, Yogi decides to take Parvathy for a special trip – a trip visiting three of his ex-girlfriends. Exploring places like Dehradun, Rishikesh, Alwar, and Gangtok – this Qarib Qarib Singlle couple goes through a rollercoaster of laughs, madness and emotions. Getting introduced to each other’s good and bad habits they make us understand life is all about imperfections. Departing us to a beautiful destination, the film ends on a delightful note..

Overall, Qarib Qarib Singlle is funny and vibrant with not a dull moment except for one or two. Watch it for a clean old school romance.

Overall, Shaadi Main Zaroor Aana is strictly enjoyable only in parts. Don't expect it to be an interesting affair as it might give you a headache in the second half..

This is the sort of script that world champions of the desi rom-com genre would've taken to an altogether level. To be fair, director Tanuja Chandra (in fine form) makes it more than a 'qarib qarib' lovely, and surely worth your while in the theatre..

Another pet peeve was that the best portions of the film were given away in the trailer and therefore there’s hardly any mystery alive in the film. The second half seems laboured, too. Give this romantic comedy a try if you are a fan of Khan..

The unhurried rhythm of Qarib Qarib Singlle might put off average filmgoers but if you see value in a film that breaks away from norm and derives strength from understatement rather than flashy storytelling methods, your search ends here..

Through the film, Irrfan’s character charms his way into the hearts of the audience and – eventually – Jaya herself. She finds him annoying, but in a sweet way.
