Fukrey Returns (2017) FUKREY RETURNS tells the story of the Fukras and the madness that ensues after their arch nemesis comes out from jail. One year after getting Bholi Punjaban (Richa Chadha) arrested, the gang of boys – Hunny (Pulkit Samrat), Choocha (Varun Sharma), Zafar (Ali Fazal) and Lali (Manjot Singh) are enjoying their time. But all hell breaks loose as Bholi is released from prison. She wants to avenge the humiliation that she had to face thanks to the Fukras and hence she compels them to be a part of an illegal initiative that involves conning the entire city of Delhi. How it leads to major problems and how the boys come out it forms the rest of the film..

The film funnily takes you back to the first Fukrey with few moments which are refreshing to watch. However, the twist in this one could have been executed in a better way, but it won't disappoint you either. Spend your weekend with 'Fukrey Returns' as it.

Sharma is a livewire who is a delight to watch and Tripathi, as always, is outstanding. Wish one could say the same about the rest of the cast - and the film as a whole. For a film that aspires to be a full-on laugh riot, Fukrey Returns is a bit of a t.

The bromance between Honey and Chu Cha works initially and then turns out to be an irritating ritual. Between Fukrey and Fukrey Returns, Pulkit Samrat and his friends have lost their innocence and have become really dim-witted..

If not madly original, this sequel could have been some amount of fun, and you can see it in tiny bits when Chaddha and Tripathi are vamping it up. But it starts to pall right from the start. And the crassness begins to get tiresome: bare butts are bitten.

Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani with director Mrighdeep Singh Lamba have created a successful franchise, and there is ample scope to make a Fukrey 3, but this time, we hope it doesn't take them four years to do so.

On the whole, FUKREY RETURNS is a fun, clean film that works despite the illogical and slightly unconvincing plot. With no other significant Hindi movie in theatres around, FUKREY RETURNS definitely has a chance of excelling at the box office..
