Before the last leg of his interview, Arnab receives a call from his wife, who asks him not to be a coward, but to prove D wrong. In the last leg of interview, Arnab begins to blame D for different terrorist activities, for which he is responsible for, calling him a fraud and not a Don. Hearing all this D dies of heart attack. Later, at his home, Arnab receives a call from D himself, who claims himself to be (now), David Adrees Kaleman, leaving his original identity of D. In a flashback, it is shown that, D pretended to die, so that world would think so, and so that he could live a new life. Arnab feels happy that there is no one in the world so called D, and D himself killed D..

It could have been good film, but the undoing of Coffee With D is its post-production. The film is let down by shoddy editing and a bad dubbing job where entire sentences are muted and out of sync. A story that has potential is ruined by poor execution that distracts you from the plot..
