Brand Babu (2018)
A Rich Family are in search of a suitable bride for their Son. The Father-Son duo have a Brand Loving syndrome and they see it as a Status symbol. On the other hand, A Big State Minister has a Beautiful Daughter and she has a `Friend aka Maid`, who is from a poor family. The Brand syndrome Son unknowingly starts a Romantic (Mobile) Chat of sorts with this Maid assuming her to be the Minister`s Daughter. What follows is a Love Triangle confusion and Emotional Family Drama.

The first half was quite good and the interval scene is also impressive. However, things changed in the second half and failed to engage the audience. Despite having a Maruthi mark comedy, the average performances by the actors, poor execution by the dire.

On the whole, Brand Babu has a good story but does not get the treatment and narration it deserves. The hero’s characterization looks interesting and offers some fun in the initial stages. However, the director loses track in the second half and this is.
