U Turn (2018) Rachana (Samantha) is an Intern in Times of India`s Crime Desk and is working on a story about Traffic Negligence on RK Puram Flyover. When the City Police Department come across an unexplained death, they call upon  Rachana to investigate her. After her own interrogation, she realizes there is a mystery of unexplained deaths relating to the flyover and starts investigating with the help of Police inspector Nayak (Aadhi Pininsetty). How Rachana and Nayak solve the mystery forms the rest.

I am a kind of guy who stays away from watching other language films if they are being remade in Telugu. But I had watched Kannada U Turn in one of legal digital platforms even before the news of remake came out. It’s a faithful remake with an interesti.

All in all, U Turn is a safe film with sparse thrill elements and riveting at times. Had Pawan Kumar come up with a different pre-climax, climax without including horror setup, result could have been different. U Turn is not a film for all sections of aud.

By the end of watching U Turn, the only words on the audiences’ minds would be ‘divider’, ‘U Turn’ and ‘flyover’. They are repeated over and over again, just to make sure the audience gets the point. But there’s always a risk of underestim.

The initial portions on love are kept to minimal however the director fails to capitalize a little bit in the post interval scenes and the screenplay starts to feel the drag. The dubbing for various artists looks little distorted at times, but again this .

U Turn’ is watchable thriller with many engaging moments. The entire first half is riveting aided with Samantha’s good performance, effective narration and the mood. Only towards the end, it turns predictable. Nevertheless, it is an interesting thrill.

U turn is gripping and engaging, keeping the audience glued to the seats. Technically too U turn is top class, with stunning visuals by Niketh and terrific BGM by Poornachandra, and with crisp editing by Suresh, U turn is perfectly timed at just 2 hours. .
