For Here Or To Go? (2018) Vivek Pandit (Ali Fazal), Lakshmi (Omi Vaidya) and Amit (Amitosh Nagpal) are three roomies who dream of making it big in America. All three have different quirks. Ali resents being a drone at a large tech firm but is careless about getting his immigration papers in order and as a result kind of misses the start-up bus despite writing an application designed to revolutionise the healthcare industry. Laxmi doesn't mind being a drone as long he gets a green card. He doesn't want to go back to India because of his sexual orientation. And Amit is wide-eyed fresh off the boat desi very much in awe of the liberal US lifestyle. Shveta (Melanie Kannokada) is the American born daughter of Vishwanath Prabhu (Rajit Kapur), a tech billionaire who wants to start a movement that encourages Indian youth to back and start new businesses in India.

Ali Fazal as the sweet and affable guy, trying to make a name for himself is relatable. Amitosh Nagpal as the prankster of the gang is hilarious. All in all, Rucha Humnabadkar’s debut film has the right ideas but they haven't been explored well.
