Wife Of Ram (2018) The story starts on a very serious note with Deeksha(Lakshmi) suffering a major setback in the form of her husband and child’s death in a tragic murder. A desperate Deeksha seeks the help of the cops but they do not support her one bit. Upset with this, she starts investigating the mystery herself. Rest of the story is as to how she solves all the loopholes in the case​ ​and nabs the criminals..

Wife of Ram' has got a decent premise that runs in the path of 'Kaahani'. The final message and some engaging episodes are plus points but it the narration that wobbles and lacks tautness..

Altogether, 'Wife of Ram' has some gripping moments, fairly decent plot and a nice message, but it also disappoints in the end. It is far better than some of Lakshmi Manchu's recent movies but it is not as gripping as 'Kahaani' was. Bottom-line: Lacklu.

Strangely enough, for a film that has a run-time of just two hours, Wife of Ram seems like a stretch. At times, especially in the first half, the film bores you – never a good sign in a thriller. It picks up the pace in the second half but a lot of it s.
