Petta (2019) Kaali (Rajinikanth) comes to a Hill Station college as a hostel warden. He sets the ragging guys right, and tries to solve a young love lover’s problem and also gets impressed by Mangala (Simran), a pranic healer. But he is not what he seems to be, he is hiding something. And the twist is revealed, he has come to this college to save one person. Kaali’s real name is Veera Petta. What is his back story, why has he come to this hill station forms the rest of the drama?.

'Peta' is an old story with a spin. There is style, there are emotions, there is drama, there is action. There is a bit of comedy as well. They all keep you engaged, especially because they are powered by Rajinikanth. On the flip side, the second half.

First half of the film is good. Second half slows down a bit. But, climax is good. Petta is like a beautiful expression of poetry in slow motion for fans of Rajinikanth. You want to stop and cherish each and every moment of Rajinikanth in the film. Plus p.

For a Telugu audiences, the post-interval portions don’t appeal much and also there is hardly any new in terms of plot but ‘Petta’ is better movie among his recent films and also we got to see old Rajinikanth in many sequences. On the whole, ‘P.

Fans of Rajini had a general complaint that they were missing the trademark Rajni and his fan moments as he was playing mostly mature roles. But director Karthik Subbaraj has showcased all those thrills in high spirits which will please the hardcore fans..

PETTA is a film strictly aimed at fans, successfully caters them ’alone ‘. Petta has a clichéd story, adding salt to the wounds it has poorly made second half. Rajini’s vintage mannerisms, his stylish looks are the saving grace in this high budgete.

The film was dragged on and on unnecessarily, but the climax packs a punch. Second half needs a lot of trimming as it could dent the prospects of the film's box office performance. Petta on the whole is a film for Rajanikanth fans that are missing vintage.
