Critic Review
Chitralahari (2019) Vijay Krishna (Sai Dharam Tej) is a youngster. He has not tasted much success in life though he does it have in his name. Such unlucky person's life gets change when two women enter in his life. The first girl who brought brightness to his otherwise dull life is Lahari (Kalyani Priyadarshan), a Hyderabadi student and the girl who instilled confidence in him is Swechcha (Nivetha Pethuraj), a corporate executive. How these two women have impact in his life and how he finds success is the film all about..

'Chitralahari' makes the cut in the last 35 minutes. Had cliches been avoided, it would have been a different film. The love track could have been way better. Comedy quotient is just meagre. Sai Dharam and Nivetha score marks with their acts. The dia.

Chitralahari has a story that connects to youth, preaches to believe in self! The director honestly tries to deliver an inspirational message, but fails as a movie maker. This film is just an average film.

On the flipside, narration is slow and we don’t empathise with hero character in second half. Intent of the film is good, but execution is not good enough to carry over the finish line..

Though the emotions work well initially but goes against to the the director’s original idea in the final sequence. The court proceedings are not all all appealing. It begins as a peppy youthful entertainer but ends as a preachy message-oriented movi.

On the whole, Chitralahari is the emotional story of an underdog with some decent moments in both the halves. But the slow pace and serious tone of the film may not be liked by a section of the audience who come expecting entertainment. Because if this, t.

Chitralahari' is passable drama that works in parts but leaves unsatisfying in the end with its preachy and dragged sequences. But turns out to be better film among Sai Dharam's recent movies..

Chitralahari does well in ticking some boxes right. It has a likable lead character and a fairly decent romantic track. The characters are fleshed out and the songs are on the money. A few well-written scenes and dialogues keep the film from falling flat..

All in all, Chitralahari is another weak attempt from Sai Dharam Tej. When picked an old and proven story, one should make sure the story-telling should be entertaining with brand new scenes. Nonetheless, the film lacks uniqueness and limpness in narratio.

The first half of the movie gets the characters introduced and we get to see the love story of Vijay and Lahari. This half has some fun moments but has nothing more than that. The second half has some revelations in Vijay characters to make him successful.
