Sita (2019)
Sita(Kajal) is a career-oriented woman who does not have any feelings. All she needs is to get her work done by hook or crook. In this process, she crosses paths with a dreaded MLA(Sonu Sood) who is after her beauty and wants to win her at any cost. In a crazy situation, she gets into a contract with the MLA to have a live-in relationship with him. Right when the time comes to obey the contract, she tries to get out of it by paying some big bucks.
Left with no choice, she goes back to her late dad’s property and tries to get it. But the twist in the tale arises when she comes to know that all her property has been handover to Ram(Bellamkonda Sreenivas) who is an innocent soul. The rest of the story is as to how Sita uses Ram and gets out of her problems..

Sita' comes with a fascinating premise. The story-telling is fairly decent in the first half, but the film goes for a toss later. It manufactures oldish elements, so much so, the distinction of the premise gets diluted..

Seetha` has a nice story line on paper but the Characterisations and Narrative style failed to make the film a decent watch. The Film promises to be different initially but as things progress, it becomes predictable and the long run time doesn`t help eith.

'Sita' has an interesting premise based on 'Rain Man'. While it creates interest in the first half, the film fritters away it's potential in the second half. Some scenes are too lengthy and climax sequences tests patience. Good beginning, boring end..

Bellam Konda Srinivas who has come out of his comfort zone & tried something new should be appreciated. There is someone in the universe who always tries to do good, this thought of Teja should also be appreciated. But somewhere between giving a good mess.

On the whole, Sita is undoubtedly Kajal’s career-best performance and she leads from the front. Bellamkonda Sreenivas ably supports her with his sincere act but the boring and dragged second half makes the ride bumpy. If all you want is to watch Kajal i.

There is not enough content to make the second half click. It gets tedious as it moves forward. The ending is predictable from the beginning and Teja fails to make it an engaging watch until it reaches there. Sonu Sood makes it watchable in parts, but poo.

All in all, Sita is not the film we are waiting from Teja whose last movie Nene Raju Nene Mantri was a super hit. Srinivas’s character, Kajal’s glamour and dialogues on Sonu Sood are the only positives in the film. CJ goes with 2.25 rating and it is n.
