Ngk (2019)
NGK(Nanda Gopal) is a well educated person who leaves behind his corporate job and does organic farming in his village. He does a lot of social service and keeps getting into trouble most of the time. In one particular issue, he observes that a small corporator in his town solves a major problem for him. This leaves NGK stunned and understand the fact that in order to do good for the people, politics is a big platform. He then enters politics and finally becomes a CM. How does he do all of that facing several obstacles is the crux of the film..

Most-laughable sequences are Suriya changing dirty kakkus (toilet) into a clean one and singing and dancing to impress boss and Sai Pallavi's sniffing act. Sai Pallavi can sniff her husband's shirt and can sense that he has either touched or come close to.

Vishwak Sen has not paid much attention towards the story & acting, mainly the emotional scenes. Though the first half can be considered okay, second half sounds extremely silly..

In total, NGK is a weak film from most expected combination of Suriya and Sri Raghava. Lack of central soul, missing nativity, uncertain characters, incoherent screenplay and imprecise direction made NGK a tedious watch..

It is not upto the mark story and screen play except for the protagonist Suriya Show. Illogical proceedings may not impress all section of audiences. Uneven placement of characters might not fit for the story feels uncalled for. One can give a try for one.

'NGK' goes for a toss with its larger-than-life moments. There definitely are some true-to-life scenes but they are few and far between. The rise of NGK in the filthy and merciless world of politics is hardly convincing..

On the whole, NGK is a simple political drama gone wrong. Lack of basic conflict, gripping drama, and entertainment are huge drawbacks for this film. Suriya needs to erase this film from his memory and choose a fun film to make a comeback as this movie do.

Aimless story and disjointed screenplay makes it a pain to watch. It starts off well with an organic farmer being forced to enter politics. But what follows after is a total mess. There are a few hints that the protagonist on a secret mission, but that is.
