Kalki (2019)
The story is set in the native village of Kollapur where two rival gangs are fighting it out and one among them, Shekar Babu gets killed. To investigate this case Kalki(Rajasekhar) is appointed. He starts getting deep into the case but to his surprise, there is much more to the murder mystery. What is that and how Kalki manages to unravel all this is the entire story of the film.

Kalki's final portions are interesting, but it is hard to keep the viewers invested in the movie till that point. It has some fine technical values and good twists, but also there is a lot of nonsense that makes it a tedious watch. Kalki is definitely not.

All in all, Kalki emerged as an average flick because of convoluted narrative, many and preventable sub-plots and too many characters. Rajasekhar was good in his role and Rahul too gave some relief. But, better screenplay would have changed prospects thou.
