Dear Comrade (2019) Chaitanya alias Bobby ( Vijay Deverakonda) is an aggressive student leader with communist ideology at Kakinada university. His radical approach towards society’s problems often bring him troubles. Aparna Devi alias Lilly ( Rashmika ) is a state level cricketer and neighbor to Bobby in Kakinada. As you can guess, love blossoms between them but given the aggressive nature of Bobby ,Lilly requests him to calm down and stay peaceful in life. While she is dual minded about marrying him , a serious issue happens to her career and personal life as well. On the flipside, Screenplay is slippery, narration is slow-paced and second half should have been compact. Unfortunately, the final output doesn't match what's shown through trailers and promotional activities. We need to wait and see how common movielove.

'Dear Comrade' is heart-felt and intense when it comes to the songs, some of the conversations, the climax, and the message. But it is also too sluggish and a bit misdirected as well. A winsome technical work overall. Deverakonda's performance, so also.

Dear Comrade` is a Mixed Bag of an Emotional Roller-coaster Ride. The 1st Half of the film deals with student politics and the 2nd half throws light on a burning issue. Great Chemistry between Vijay and Rashmika is a treat to watch but this was letdown by.

Dear Comrade’ is a different love story that deals with a relevant issue. The #MeToo movement is packaged in a different way. Music and the lead pair’s chemistry is a treat. The new director has told the movie with his conviction and with a poetic tou.

Dear Comrade may not be convincing throughout the run time. It has ups, downs and unconvincing deviations. Nevertheless, by the time final title cards roll down, Bharat Kamma comes out successfull in conveying what he had to say - 'Fight For What You Love.

Although slow and sluggish at times with a slightly below-par climax, Dear Comrade is a good attempt. It's a film that makes you think, keeps you guessing and plays with your emotions. After the film, there's a good chance you make out with your collar up.

One the whole, Dear Comrade is not the routine love story which you see on a regular basis. It is filled with emotions and shows how one needs to fight for what they believe in and support their partners no matter what. Amazing love story, superb performa.

It’s a decent attempt from the debutante director Bharat Kamma,which has been well performed by the actors chosen for the film. Except for the spell bounding college episodes, nothing new has been observed .However; Vijay has yet again shown his mark so.
