Rakshasudu (2019)
Arun(Bellamkonda Srinivas)is a struggling director who gets his father’s job of a cop. During the same time, teenage girls in the city keep getting kidnapped one after the other. The case comes to Arun and his team. The twist in the tale arises when Arun’s nice gets kidnapped all of a sudden. The rest of the story is as to how Arun cracks the case and nabs the killer behind it..

On the flipside, there is a bit of Tamil flavour (lacking Telugu nativity) in casting some of the actors and in some of the scenes. The dark approach of describing gruesome nature and killing techniques is not recommended for everybody. On a whole, Raksha.

When Ramesh Varma decided to remake a thriller like Ratsasan, there were lofty expectations, but the director sails through and hits the mark with this film. While thrillers run the risk of getting too predictable, Rakshasudu keeps you guessing at all tim.

`Rakshasudu` is an Intriguing Psycho/Crime Thriller. It almost always stays true to the original (Ratsasan) and keeps the audience largely glued right till the end with enough twists. Although it feels like a little dragged at times, the story has plenty .
