Manmadhudu 2 (2019)
Middle-aged Sam (Nagarjuna) is a perfumer and is unmarried. When his mother and sisters insist on getting married, he brings in a girlfriend Avanthika (Rakul Preet Singh).
She has been hired for a fake marriage. But things don’t go as they plan. She runs away as they planned on their wedding but she comes back to his life due to one incident.
Will this rented-girlfriend fall in love?.

Manmadhudu 2 is not at all a fitting sequel to Manmadhudu. Except Nag in a new avatar and comic timing from Vennela Kishore, Rao Ramesh; there’s nothing much to offer. CJ goes with 2 stars and if you want to see Nagarjuna in droll role, try this else yo.

When it comes to comedy, this movie has done an okay job. But when it comes to the title “Manmadhudu 2”, the movie has not done justice to it. We cannot consider this movie as Manmadhudu’s sequel!.

Manmadhudu 2’ is no where near or related to the 2002 original. A Story supposed to be Driven by Family emotions has been told mixed with full of double meaning stuff which ended-up neither satisfying the younger lot nor families. This is an Urban Roman.

All in all, “Manmadhudu 2” is not only bad sequel (if it is) to ‘Manmadhudu’ but also bad remake of the French movie “I Do” and it is a misfire.

Manmadhudu 2’ is a faithful remake of the French movie ‘I Do’ and like the original French drama, this one too has entirely predictable narration from start to finish and tests the patience with sloppy sentiment scenes, adult jokes and lousy treatme.

Manmadhudu-2 fails to meet the minimum bar of a franchise film. One wonders how Nagarjuna, who is a tasteful producer, allowed too much adult content as he has a good following in families. This film provides some youth appealing entertainment with its do.
