Bypass Road (2019) Vikram (Mukesh) is the son of a rich man (Kapur) who has a young wife (Panag) and daughter. Someone is out to get Vikram: who can it be? The second wife who hates his guts? A jealous lover? Or a masked stalker trawling the mansion, bloody knife in hand?.

All said and done, Bypass Road is not a route you would want to take off you’re looking for a good thriller. You might find a lot of unintentional humour as I did (refer: script analysis) but thrills are the last thing you’ll get from this. Skip it!.

"Sir main zubaan catch nahi karta sir... Feelings hoti hai naa sir woh catch karta hoon," says Shankar (Sooraj Pnacholi). Well, staying true to these words, the film does succeed in connecting with your emotions. Unfortunately, the effect isn't long-lasti.

The first and only time that Neil Nitin Mukesh left an impact was in his first film, Johnny Gaddar. This has him in practically every frame, and he goes at the material with sincerity, and there are one or two twitchy twists. But all told, this is a drag..

No amount of thunder and lightning, cats and threats, conveniently forsaken homes to carry out a long-drawn-out clash between masked intruders and wheelchaired victims (something the recent Game Over did so well) can chart Bypass Road's bumpy course..

the movie did show some potential in the second half, but at 2 hours and 17 minutes, 'Bypass Road' is a tedious watch. Also, it's sad to witness a competent actor like Neil Nitin Mukesh, who made a fabulous debut in a thriller film called 'Johnny Gaddaar'.
