Action (2019)
In Kurnool city, a businesswoman Varalakshmi (Varalaxmi Sarath Kumar) with Rs 5000 crores worth of assets is facing charges of murdering a journalist. She hires a criminal Chakravarthy (Murali Sharma) to defend her. In the same court, a young lawyer Tenali Ramakrishna (Sundeep Kishan) has earned the name of ‘compromise vakeel’ as he settles the legal issues out of court between the two parties. His only aim is to get a big case that would earn him respect and marry Chakravarthy’s daughter Rukhmini (Hansika). Due to some incidents, he gets Varalakshmi’s case and proves her as innocent in the case. But the real trouble begins later..

If you are new to this genre, it might give thrills but for regular action movie lovers, this is typical drama. All in all, this is an average action fare.

Action' is in the mould of 'hero alone can save the nation' stories. From money laundering to terrorism and political intrigues, from family bonds to love stories, a lot is there in the script. Not everything is well-cooked. But this one tastes better.

Action` is a Hybrid-Genre Thriller filled with Politics, Terror, and Family Drama. The film`s 1st half is interesting but the 2nd half should have been better. Action Episodes and Locales coupled with loads of glamour make this a Decent affair in the end..

On the whole, Action is an average attempt from Vishal and director Sundar C. Although first half had few good and enjoyable moments here and there, second half hardly has any such elements except couple of action episodes. The film is strictly for those .

The final act is clearly a letdown. Given all the buildup, we expect a strong antagonist who might prove to be more than a match to the protagonists, but what we get is a weak villain, who gets easily outwitted in his own den - Pakistan, where else!.

On the whole, Action is a masala suspense thriller that has a gripping first half. Amazing stunts, good suspense and stunning visuals keep the audience engaged. The second half starts well but slows down in the last half an hour making the film predictabl.
