Prathi Roju Pandage (2019) Ramesh (Rao Ramesh) can’t live without his son Sai (Sai Tej) for a single day. But he happily lives in the USA, far away from his father Raghuramaiah, can’t even spare a week to visit India. One day, Ramesh comes to a call from his father informing him that he’s diagnosed with cancer and his days are numbered. Sai immediately leaves for Rajamundry to spend time with his grandfather. Sai celebrates every day so that his father can live happily in his last days. Ramesh, his brothers, and sister who live in various places also follow Sai a few weeks later. But things don’t go as planned. .

The film scores in its entertainment. Rao Ramesh provides a lot of fun in the second half, while the first half is largely entertaining as a whole. Despite predictability and regular sentiment sequences, ‘Prati Roju Pandage’ turns into an okay watc.

Maruthi is a good writer and makes up for the flaws with well written climatic sequences. All in all, PRP is a mixed bag with some genuinely funny moments and some silly scenes in second half that spoil the fun..

On the whole, Pratiroju Pandage is a typical family drama that has a predictable story and decent fun. A hurried up climax and lack of gripping emotional drama takes the film down a bit. But the comedy generated at regular intervals is pretty good and kee.
