World Famous Lover (2020)
Gautam who left a cushy job in a corporate company to pursue his dream of writing books strangely doesn’t get ideas to write. Is he suffering from writer’s block? We don’t know. He sits idle at home, watching cartoon shows on iPad, smoking cigarettes, always roaming without a shirt. Not even caring about her feelings, he makes love to his live-in girlfriend Yamini (Raashi Khanna). Frustrated with his attitude, she walks out of his life and breaks up. Gautam then starts penning a novel. He imagines about being a coal mine worker Seenayya, a story he wrote for his novel. He also imagines what would have been his life had he take up a job in Paris as his former boss suggested. Do these two imagined stories have any impact on his life or do they make any difference to his relationship with Yamini?.

World Famous Lover' fails to engage the audience with a soulful story. Of the three segments, only one of them is decent. The other two are drastically flawed and even stretched..

Despite Vijay Deverakonda putting his best and somewhat okay first half, “World Famous Lover” turns into a boring watch towards the end. This film reiterates that Vijay Deverakonda should reinvent and think afresh in his career.

Overall, the film is One Time Watch film, The film has heart but lack soul, 1st half is good but 2nd half screenplay is too weak. World Famous Lover, a complex love story and has different emotions. Kranti Madhav kept all his efforts to narrate the story .

limax is a rip off of Arjun Reddy story and the director didn't even had the guts to end it on a tragic note. It drags on and on until we are bored to death. Even the music and songs don't come to our rescue. It is high time Vijay reinvents himself and co.

In total, WFL is a slow, boring and lengthy journey of writer Gautham into Seenayya in Yellandu and Gautham in Paris characters to win his love for wife Yamini i.e Rashi Khanna. Devoid of Vijay trademark entertainment, WFL stood on shoulders of Vijay's pe.
