Hit (2020)
A police inspector Vikram who is suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder gets involved in the investigation of two missing cases – a teenager named Preethi and his girlfriend Neha (Ruhani Sharma). He decides to crack the cases by hook or crook but all the leads and clues take him to nowhere. How are these two cases interconnected and who did take them away? And how would he solve them?.

Vishwak Sen’s splendid work, Vivek Sagar’s pulsating background music and director’s stylish taking are assets to this film. HIT is a slick investigative thriller with some issues. It has got everything right except for an unconvincing climax, repet.

Hit` starts off promisingly well as a Mystery Crime thriller. The film has been narrated in a suspenseful manner till the very end but the lack of proper twists and turns makes the film look like a dragged affair in the 2nd half. This is a very neatly pac.

Nicely executed and smartly treated, 'HIT' proves to be a thriller with gravitas. Neat performances, especially by Vishwak Sen, and the high-end technical output make it winsome. But this one is far from being a perfect thriller. Sans a gripping story .

All in all, HIT is not an intriguing thriller one would expect from Nani’s production banner. Of course, all the lead cast came up with wonderful performances, especially Vishwak Sen is exceptional and the technical team also gave their best to make up .

'Hit' gets much the mood needed for a thriller perfect, the technical output is brilliant and also Viswak’s performance is good but in the end, it misses hitting the bulls-eye due to the far-fetched climax. 'Hit' ends with the hint of a sequel..

On the whole, HIT is a suspense thriller which has some interesting investigative scenes. The suspense has been maintained till the end and Vishwak Sen is top notch in his role. But the film is lengthy and misses the needed twists which all thrillers have.
