Gabbar Singh (2012) Gabbar Singh is remake version of Hindi movie Dabangg. It is a action drama based movie, where Pawan Kalyan playing the title role and Shruti Haasan playing the female lead role. Harish Shankar, who earlier directed Mirapakaya movie with Ravi Teja is now directing this movie under Bandla Ganesh's Parameshwara Art productions banner. Devi Sri Prasad scored music for this movie..

For the next five minutes what ensues can best be described as larky mayhem with each of them singing popular tragic songs one after another. The movie is loaded with that kind of humor.

In one sequence Gabbar Singh (Pawan Kalyan) gets a gang of squatting goons to play antakshari among them in the police station and the movie was entertaining and the ps is the highlight.

Pawan Kalyan is back with a bang with Gabbar Singh. His style and mannerisms are perfect and I would dare to say better than Salman Khan in Dabangg.

When I went to watch the movie, I thought I would be bored, because I watched the hindi movie a couple of times, but Harish Shankar made quite a few changes and made changes to the storyline to suit the nativity of Telugu people.

Sruthi Hassan did not have much scope to perform. Kota impresses in his small role. Screenplay is very gripping and the music is pretty good and so is the background music. Gayatri Rao goes a little overboard, but otherwise okay with her performance.

A good watch, if all you are looking for is entertainment and excuse some logic less sequences.
