Book knowledge is better than world knowledge” – protagonist Raju (Chethan Maddineni) has been brought up with this motto by his success-minded parents (Naresh and Rajashree Nair) since childhood. Living up to his parents’ aspirations, Raju tops all the classes and attains the title ‘First Rank’ in the process.
However, First Rank Raju’s studious mindset makes him too naive and nerdy to even do simple things in life, like buying vegetables in the market or reciprocating to a beautiful classmate’s (Kashish Vohra) love proposal.
The conflict in First Rank Raju’s life arises when he fails to secure a plum job at a top MNC despite being a brilliant student and successfully acing the interview. How this life transforming incident motivates First Rank Raju to explore the world and discover himself eventually is the main crux of the story..

In this movie they showed how a boy will behave only if he has bookish knowledge.. through this film they conveyed that bookish knowledge is important but only up to exams.. to succeed in life we should have knowledge about life.. this is a message to parents and corporate schools.. not to force children in studies.. give them a chance to live their life.. director took good concept which is current situation of our society.. good movie.. fun generating scenes.. go and watch it on big screen..

But half there is some lag.. and climax is good.. the movie is about a boy whose parents always tell him to get first rank.. his father always tells him book knowledge is better than general knowledge.. in the same way this boy also will get first rank in school,college . Then he will attend for an interview and he will be rejected.. his academic knowledge is good but he even don't know to buy vegetables.. he don't know how to behave in society.. he I'll not have friends and in his view love is bad habbit.
