Minor Raja is the story of a wayward village playboy, played by Rajendra Prasad. Raja falls in love with Lakshmi (Sobhana), a fun loving town girl. When Raja's detractors wrongly accuse a teacher's daughter of having an affair with Raja, he decides to marry her to save her the humiliation. Lakshmi on the other hand is heart broken but soon finds respite. The story has many funny twists and turns.
