She was last seen in 'Adhinayakudu' & 'Bodyguard' movies will be sharing screen space with Allu Arjun & Shruthi Haasan in 'Race Gurram'. She is been selected to play the second female lead role opposite Allu Arjun in 'Race Gurram'. Shruthi Haasan is the main female lead. 'Race Gurram' is currently under production and it is being directed by Surrender Reddy and produced by Nallamalapu Bujji. S.S.Thamman is roped in to provide music to the movie.

As it is reported few days back that Charmi will be playing a TV journalist role in the upcoming film of her 'Prathigatana' under the direction of Thammareddy Bharadwaj, the first glimpse of her role was revealed by Charmi herself on her twitter account. In the released pics, she is seen in the getup of a TV news reader. 'Prathigatana' is said to be inspired from real life incident and it is also said to be outcome of Director's(Thammareddy Bharadwaj) anger & frustration on continously hearing & seeing cruel acts of some men on women. Charmi's role is given a name, 'Nischala'. Atul Kulkarni will be playing an important role in the movie. The movie is also being produced by Thammareddy Bhardwaj himself.

The upcoming actor & hero, Sandeep Kishan's new film is launched on Sunday & the regular shooting begins from Monday. The movie is been titled as 'Rara Krishnaiah' and it is being directed by Mahesh, who earlier worked with Krishna Vamsi. The movie is being produced by Vamsi krishna Srinivas. Regeena, who has earlier worked with Sandeep Kishan in 'Routine Love Story', will join him again in this movie as the female lead. Speaking to the media, on the occasion of movie launch, the producer of the movie, Vamsi Krishna Srinivas, has said that its a romantic comedy movie in which Sandeep Kishan will be seen in a new avatar. He continued that the regular shooting begins Monday and continues till 26 of this month. The second schedule of the movie will start from September 10 & finishes on 25th. The second schedule of the shooting will be done in Kerala and with this schedule some talkie & two songs of the movie will be completed.

We have reported few months back that she is preparing a script for a movie and now according to his latest tweets he is said to become lyricist. His latest tweet suggest that he penned the lyrics of a song, which will be composed by 'Music Maestro' Illayaraja. "In the world of Ilayaraja s music.. And the joy of creating lyrics to his tunes... Blisssssss", he tweeted. He also tweeted that he returned back to Bangkok, after the music sittings, for a shooting of a movie. "Flying back to Bangkok after a wonderful day with the maestro Ilayaraja. Happy n content", he tweeted.

Few months ago, in last December to be precise, we have reported that Samantha has started a N.G.O named 'Prathyusa' which serves the children & women who suffers from lower blood levels in their bodies. We also reported that she started this N.G.O, soon after she came out of some serious health issues in the last year because of which she was out of action for about three months. In fact, the shooting 'SVSC' among other movies got delayed because of her taking unexpected break from the shootings due to her health issues. That particular phase or time made her realiszed that there is no better thing than helping others, she had told. Being true to her words, she is slowly working to expand the reach of her N.G.O, 'Prathyusa' since then. As a part of it, she is now planned an auction, the proceeds of which will be spent for 'Prathyusa' works. She will be auctioning garments she worn at audio releases, award functions and from her films. "Will be planning an auction soon... Of garments worn by me at audio releases, award functions and from my films.. Further details soon", she tweeted and also said "Proceeds go to pratyusha.... Ur involvement will be much appreciated...". She continued saying "Will try getting something from your favorite stars as well... TRY & Yes I ll beg borrow and steal stuff from all ur favorite stars.. Promise...", & put them on auction to fetch as much money as people to fund the charity works of 'Prathyusa' for which she "Thinks it's time for pratyusha to grow... Have a sincere group of young awesome ppl with me.. Talking to more sponsors.. Really really happy". And she started the auction with a bang by putting the Police dress that is worn by Pawan Kalyan in 'Gabbar Singh'. Manchu Manoj who had already released two songs, a fun item & a mass item, to the audience is getting ready to release another song from this movie on Sunday morning 8AM(IST). As we have reported earlier, the audio of the movie may be released on August 19th, if the high tension situation that is been prevailing in the state calms down. And according to his tweets, this time he is gonna lanuch a love song from the movie. He tweeted "Excited to launch 'Devatha' love song from Potugadu tmr morning :-) be ready to dedicate it to ur luvey's:) stay tuned :-)". He also tweeted it was written by Rama Jogayya Sastry & composed by Achu. "@achutweeets & jogi sastry rocked:)", he tweeted. And this love song is said to be go like this "devatha oh devatha na manusune marchav illa". In a reply to one of his twitter follower's question that what will be left to be released at the audio function if all the songs are released one by one, he said ther is much more in the audio of the movie that is to be seen on the day of the audio release. Update: We have now come to know that due to technical issues Manchu Manoj will not be able to release the love number from 'Potugadu' on Sunday Morning 8AM(IST), which is just few hours away from now. The first look of 'Bhai', which is released on Saturday(10th) has been received very well by 'Akkineni' fans. Veerabhadram, who had previously directed movies like 'Poolarangadu', is directing this movie and it is being produced by none other than Nagajuna himself under his home banner 'Anapurna Studios' along with Reliance Entertainment. The shooting of the movie is almost finished except for a song, the shooting of which will start at the end of this month. Richa Gangopadhyay is playing the female lead role in the movie opposite Nagarjuna. Kamna Jethmalani is making a guest role in this movie.
The movie is gearing up for a release in September release. Devi Sri Prasad is providing the music to this movie.
