A rural tale, the story is set on the backdrop of a village and here lives Ramachandra Rao (siva krishna), the noble man and village president who is known for his generosity. However, his chair is being eyed by the bad guy Bapineedu. In the same village is Abhimanyu (tanish) who dotes on his mom Sitaratnam (roja). The story takes a turn when Nandini (shobana) falls in love with Abhimanyu and he responds after getting his mom's clearance. However, Bapineedu's brother joins Abhimanyu's group with evil plans. Meanwhile, Ramachandra Rao discovers about Abhi-Nandini affair and he insults Sitaratnam. Abhimanyu vows to take the president's chair and what happens after that forms the rest of the story.
