Warning is a political thriller about the city's Police Commissioner, Indira's (Jayaprada) quest to rid her city of all anti-social elements. Gangi Reddy (Rami Reddy) is the city's biggest mob boss who's got a lot of politicians and cops like putty in his hands. Indira's fight for justice brings her closer to confronting Gangi Reddy and when they finally do confront, she threatens to end his reign. Gangi Reddy takes this as a personal insult and plans to take revenge. When Gangi Reddy's younger brother molests his college lecturer and drives her to commit suicide, Indira arrests him and makes sure he gets hanged. Indira's son whom she never gets to meet as her estranged husband doesn't let her, gets kidnapped by Gangi Reddy's men. He threatens to kill the boy if Indira doesn't let Gangi Reddy's brother go. When she refuses to do so, they kill her son. This is the last straw for Indira and she starts to crackdown on Gangi Reddy's men and pushes him into a corner. All of Gangi Reddy plans to defeat Indira fail and she finally comes up with a plan of her own to make him confess publicly and shoots him dead.
