Jayam is one of director Teja's better movies. Like most of his movies music is a highlight. Teja who is known to introduce new lead actors, introduced Nitin, Sada and the antagonist Gopichand (who is now a lead actor).

Jayam is a gripping movies and Teja always extracts nice performances from the actors. The only disappointing this with the movie is its comedy (especially that of suman shetty and shakeela). Gopi chand steals the show as a dreaded villian. Definitely a good watch
