Vijay (Krishnan Raju) is in prison.He is gaining inspiration through his wife Laxmi (Jayasudha)'s letters.Because of his good behaviour he has been released from prison.When he comes back home, he comes to know that his family is in a very deperate condition.He decides to strive for his family and to bring them in a good position.But he has to face very tough time.While striving for good he has lost his brother's faith and his sister's marriage has also been cancelled.But he decides not to leave his principles.Did he get succeed in his mission with his principles or did he have to sacrifice his principles for the well being of his family, forms the rest of the story.
