Movie Info

Son of a zamindar (Kanta Rao) Sridhar goes to a village to attend a his friend's sister(Sangeeta)'s marriage. The grooms party demand more dowry and the marriage is stopped abruptly. He marries her and brings her home. His uncle doesn't like it and treis to separate the couple. He wants to make his daughter married of to Sridhar and rule the estate and enjoy the luxuries. He meets Rao Gopala Rao who is a skilled person in planning such schemes and goes according to his instructions. Sridhar doubts his wife and they get separated. But truth wins and the couple unite in the end. The opening scene of the film highlights the directorial skills of Bapu. A must for everyone those who like Telugu culture.

A classic from Bapu, based on ramayanam. The first of its kind for its dialogues, music, storyline and performance.

A must watch for all telugu movie lovers.
