ishwanath(Vijay Kumar), a senior law enforcement officer lives with two wifes (Sumithra) and (Jaya Chitra). Gowtham(Prabhu) is first wife’s son and Ashok(Karthik) is second wife’s son. Gowtham becomes a police officer and falls in love with his senior officer’s daughter (Amala). Ashok, who completes his degree roams with his friends and he too falls in love with a beautiful girl (Nirosha). Both Gowtham and Ashok hate each other and fights whenever they meet. Finally the two brothers join their hands to protect their father Vishwanath from gangsters.

Excellent music from Illayaraja, they were initially supposed to remake the movie with nagarjuna and Venkatesh in lead roles, but decided to dub instead.
A gripping story with good narration.
