Boss revolves around a relationship between a father (Satyakant Shastri played by Mithun Chakraborty) and son (Boss played by Akshay Kumar). Boss does not share good relationship with his father and instead he is the right hand of a local don named Big Boss. It's from him that he even gets the name of Boss. Akshay plays a kind-hearted rogue king in the film.
Akshay's younger brother Shiv (played by Shiv Pandit) also comes into the picture ash he is In love with Ankita(Aditi Rao Hydari). Shiv is even dragged into a controversy due to Ayushman Thakur (Ronit Roy), who is the villainous cop in the movie.
