Priya (played by Kajol) is a young beautiful girl and aspires to become a nun. However her father wants her to get marriage and have a beautiful life. He acts as a heart patient so that Priya can stay with her. His plan is to use this opportunity to find a good match for her. Thomas (played by Arvind Swamy) is a business man and son of SP Balasubrahmaniam. Priya is asked to take care of their businesses and she takes help of Thomas in few occasions. Thomas falls in love with her and takes help of Deva (played by Prabhu Deva).Deva makes many attempts to make Priya soft and tries to build positive words on Thomas. However he himself falls in love with her and after recognizing that, he tries to slowdown and pull away. However, Priya continues to build expectations on Deva. After coming to know that Thomas is in love with her, Priya decides to pull back and become a num. The movie ends with Thomas getting baptized and becoming a father while Priya and Deva marries and blessed with children.
