Khwahish is a story of a young couple, Lekha and Amar. Amar and Lekha fall in love soon after they meet each other for the first time after their college years. Amar sacrifices the wealth and comfort in his Father's home to marry Lekha and settle down. Their relationship moves on smoothly until Amar realises that Lekha is sufferring from an incurable disease. They both try to keep each other happy by pretending that things are normal until a vacation in Kerala where Lekha tells Amar that she knows about her illness. Will Amar be able to cope up with this loss all alone? Or will Lekha herself help her husband out of it?
