Kota is a widower and has got two sons- Venu and Chandra Mohan. Chandra Mohan is married ten years back, but could not make his wife pregnant. Kota is worried about the 'vamsoddarakudu' for his family. Hence his main goal in the life is to get Venu married to a beautiful girl and make him give birth to a son.
Venu consults an astrologer about his future. The astrologer professes that Venu's future wife dies if she gives birth to kid. Venu knows that his father aim is get a grandson. And Venu does not want to make an innocent woman die in the process.
