It's A Mismatch is a story about a young talented architect Aman who gets all he needs from his loving uncle and he takes the comfort offered by his uncle for granted as he is not serious towards life. One day he meets Neha who is a perfect girl. They fall in love and they feel there are no hurdles in their relationship until their families meet.
The family of Mr. Patel is completely different from Mr. Bhalla as Mr. Patel is extremely conventional .Both the families of the lovebirds , are completely different. The match appears completely opposite and that is equivalent to a “mismatch.”
The youngsters in love try to bring their families together so they can understand the feelings of each other but things turn for worst as the hilarious events reveals things most disapproving for both the families. Both the fathers are not ready to change and they also have faultfinding nature to add to their adamant behavior.
The story of the film is about how the two youngsters bring their families together and help them understand that they are ready to compromise because they are in love. The film was planned in 2005 and debutant Anubhav Anand has written and produced the film. The film shows comedy that is generated due to the accent of the two families, one being a Punjabi family and the other is Gujarati family.
