Priyamani's next project 'Chandee', which is mainly a heroin oriented film, will be having the 'Rebel Star' of tollywood krishnam Raju as 'Ashok Gajapathiraju'. The character of 'Ashok Gajapathiraju' is said to be a powerful one. Announcing this to the media, the co-producer of the movie, Satya Mummidi has said that 'Krishnam Raju will be seen as Priyamani's father, the head of the village & the heir of freedom fighter in Chandee movie. The character of Krishnam Raju in the film will be a powerful one with as appealing as his characters in Bobbili Brahmanna, Palanti Pourusham, Thandra Paparayudu, both in dialogues as well as in get-up. His fans will have treat of seeing him in this powerful character'. According to the co-producer the third schedule has been wrapped up on April 10th and from 17th of this month the shooting of a song will be done.

Along with Priyamani, Asish Vidyarthi, Krishnam Raju, vinod Kumar, Nagendra Babu, Supreeth, Ranganath, Ali, Posani, GV, Thagubothu Ramesh, Telangana Shakuntala are playing some important roles in the movie. S.R.Shankar is the music director of the movie, while Dr.Surendra Babu.G is producing the movie. V.Samudra is the director of the movie.
