The prestigious project of dynamic director Guna Sekhar, 'Rudrama Devi', is finally got to the floors and started it's regular shooting. The movie is directed & produced by Guna Sekhar himself, under his home banner 'Gunna Team Works'. The regular shooting of the movie has started in the 'Arena' set, worth crores of rupees and built in the Gopanapalli, the same place where the famous 'Charminar' set built for 'Okkadu' movie. The regular shooting started April 27th morning. Speaking to the media, the director & producer of the movie Guna Sekhar has said that all the cast like Anushka who is playing the title role and Rana Daggubati playing the Chalukya Veerabhadra role. Rebel Star, Krishnam Raju, who can be seen in Ganapathi Deva Chakravarthi role, which has got so much importance and Prakash Raju in Mahamanthri Sivadevayya role, Ajay who will be seen as Prasadaditya, Ravi Babu as Naga devudu, Nathalia Kaur as Annambika, Hamsanandani as Madhanika and Prabha as Somambha.  Brahmanandham, M.S.Narayana, Dharmavarapu Subramanyam, Vennela Kishore and Brahmaji all the people will be participating in the shooting of the movie in the 'Arena' set, which is designed by 'Padma Sri' Thota Tharani. The graphic works are already started. With the main goal of making a movie that will be written in the history of Indian cinema, the movie is being made without making any compromises on any issue".

The movie is the first Indian historical 3d stereo scopic movie. Music 'Maestro', Illayaraj is provoding the music to the movie.
