News - Lakshmi Manchu Had A Close Call   As we have reported few days back that Manchu Lakshmi has been able to grab an opportunity to work in a Hollywood project, titled 'Basmathi Rice'. The movie is under production and it is being shot in 'God's Own Country' Kerala. During the shooting of this movie, a scary incident took place in which, the canoe(a small boat), that Lakshmi Manchu was in was flipped upside down and she was thrown over board. After being thrown into water, she had to swim more than a kilometer long until a fishing boat came to her rescue. This news was conveyed by Lakshmi Manchu herself, through her twitter account. "Was on a canoe ride at the Alappuzha lake and our canoe flipped over and we were thrown off. We couldn't get on the boat. Had to swim more than a kilometer. Was quite scary no knowing what was in the water. Snakes r a common sight there", she tweets. Describing the experience, she said it was intense, but thanks to the swimming lessons she had, she is safe now. "It was very intense. Thank god for my swimming lessons! It was dark and creepy being in the water", she tweeted. She also said that she is safe now, and except for some bruises she hadn't been injured severly.
