'Mass Maharaja' Ravi Teja is one of those heroes or an actor, who had build their career from the scratch(ground). For so many years, he has worked as Jr.Artist in many movies and slowly moved to the top with his talent, hardwork and commitment towards his filmy career. Now, he is been one of the top heroes in the Tollywood. Unfortunately for him, he has been having some kind of bad patch at present in his career with many of his movies have failed to do well at the box office. Given the failures of his recent movies, he has many hopes on his upcoming movie 'Balupu' and desperately wants it to be successful at the box office. The movie is set to be released on 28th of this month. Speaking to the media, on this occasion, this versatile actor has revealed his long lasting desire of directing a movie. He is not much interested to be a producer and very keen to be a director. He said, “I do not want to be a producer. Why do something which is very alien? I would like to be a director someday..I don’t know when".

'Balupu' features Shruti Haasan and Anjali as the heroines opposite Ravi Teja. Gopichand Malineni is the director and PVP Cinema is the producer.
