The super hit Hindi movie, 'Kahaani' is being remade in Telugu by Sekhar Kamula. Vidya Balan got loads & loads of accolades for the outstanding performance of her in the role of 'Anamika', a young woman who pretends to be left by her husband and being a pregnant, in this movie. The ture performance oriented movie is being remade with Nayanatara, reprising the role of Vidya Balan of original movie, in both Telugu and Tamil simultaneously. The movie has already been titled as 'Anamika' and the latest news is that it is being getting readied for a release during Dussehra season.

It was already reported during the begining of the project that Sekhar Kamula is aiming to wrap up this bi-lingual movie in record time. This is also the first Tamil movie that Sekhar Kamula is directing. The movie is being made by Endemol India, Logline Productions and Select Media Holdings. And M.M.Keeravani will be composing the tunes to the movie.
