Few days back it was confirmed by Charmi that she will be working with Thammareddy Bharadwaj and will be playing a journalist role under his direction. The movie was named as 'Prathigatana' and now more details of the movie are revealed to public by the director of the movie, Thammareddy Bharadwaj, himself. Speaking to the media, Bharadwaj has said that the movie is inspired from a real incident occurred in Orissa few years ago when a woman was raped. The victim went into a coma. He said that the 'Prathigatana' is an outcome of his anger and frustration after getting vexed reading same kind of stories every day in news papers. He then said that Charmi will be playing a TV journalist role named Nischala and it will be one of the most powerful role that she played in her career so far. Atul Kulkarni will be playing an important role in the movie.

The script for the movie is provided by Lakshmi Bhupal. And Thammareddy Bharadwaj is also producing this movie apart from directing it.
