If all goes well, the much awaited audio function of the movie will be happening on August 19th at Shilpa Kalavedika auditorium in Hyderabad. This was revealed by Manchu Manoj on his twitter account when asked by one of his follower. He said if the situation(in the state) permits, the audio of the movie will most probably be released on 19th of this month. He also said what they(Potugadu team) can do if the present situation is not conducive for any type of release.

The movie is been in the production stages for the last few months, the movie is said to be a romantic action enteratiner. Already two songs from the movie have been released. 'Potugadu' features four new girls making their debut in Tollywood. The four girls are Sakshi Chowdhary, Simran Kaur Mundi, Anu Priya and Rachel. Pawan Wadeyar is directing this movie while it is being jointly produced by Sirisha and Sridhar under Ramalakshmi Creations banner. The music of the movie is provided by Achu.
