'Devatha' Song from 'Potugadu', which was not released on Sunday morning as was earlier planned by Manchu Manoj, is now scheduled to be released on Wednesday. He tweeted that he will release the song on Wednesday on the occasion of his friend Ranjith's birthday. "Devatha song frm potugadu wil be ready by tmr :) wil release on Wednesday as its my best friend ranjit's bday:)", he tweeted. Instead of this song, Manchu Manoj has released the theme music of 'Potugadu' movie on Sunday morning and the theme music is also able to attract as many audience as the previously released two songs from the movie did. And the 'Devatha' song that will be released on Wednesday is reported to be a love song unlike other two which were happened to be fun & massy items.

'Potugadu' is being directed Pavan Wadeyar and produced by Sirisha Sridhar under Ramalakshmi Movies banner. It is 75% remake of Kannada movie, 'Govindayya Namaha'. Achu is the music director of this movie.
