Manchu Manoj is known for his 100% commitment & involvement in the project he takes up. He also known for his nature of taking that extra risk in pulling off some marvelous action sequences. He is a multi-talented & multi-faceted artist, who acts, choregraphs his own action sequences and with his latest project he even become a singer. There have been reports that he is continously involved(or helped) in music composing for 'Potugadu'. Now, when the question is arised, what else there for him to do?... the answer that came out is 'Direction'. In an interview given to leading English media, Hyderabad Times, he has expressed his desire to take up the direction some time in his career. He said "Yes, I'll definitely direct a movie if I can find the good script". He also said that he won't be acting under his own direction instead he will give chance to an upcoming & talented actor. "But I will not be acting in my direction, instead I'll cast a talented new comer", he said.

And when interviewer had asked about his love life, he categorically said he is still single. There were lot of rumours on him saying he is dating with a mysterious girl, whose whereabouts are yet to be known to the media. He was even reported to be getting married very soon. But denying them he said, "I'm still single and there are no marriage plans started as of yet". He promised that he will let every one know if his marriage is fixed.

His 'Potugadu' movie will release in few days, the movie has already finished its censor works along with other post-production works and is all set to be released soon.
