Priya Anand, who is known to Telugu audience for her character in the Rana Daggubati's first movie 'Leader', is reported to be bagged a big Kannada project. She is been busy with Tamil projects for the last couple of years and the reported big Kannad project is nothing but the remake of super hit Telugu movie 'Dookudu'. K.Maadesh is directing this remake project with Punith Raj as the hero. Another interesting titbit about this remake is that Thaman, who provided music to 'Dookudu' in Telugu, will be making tunes to this remake also.

Priya Anand is presently busy with 'Vannakam Chennai' & another new project titled 'Vaayi Raja Vaayi' under the direction of Eishwarya(Rajinikanth's daughter who is also directing Rajinikanth's upcoming movie 'Vikram Simha').
