One of first pioneers of Telugu Cinema & freedom fighter, Tammareddy Krishna Murthy is died on Monday in Hyderabad at the age of 93. Tammareddy Krishna Murthy was born in Chinapalaparru village in Krishna district of Andhra Pradesh. He was living in CR Foundation's old age home during his last days.During his youth, he was actively involved in the works of Praja Natya Mandali along with participating in the freedom movements. He entered into film making in 1940s & produced movies like 'Lakshadikari', 'Dharma Daata' & 'Bagaru Gajulu' etc. He is the father of popular Tollywoo producer & director, Tammareddy Bhardwaj.
